Job Summary
Two-person, married-couple role as Full-time Flex Houseparents will reside in on-campus student homes, provide daily supervision and mentorship, administer medications, drive students to activities, plan and engage in developmental/recreational activities, lead daily devotions and chapel attendance, oversee household routines and budgeting, and ultimately transition to a Placed Houseparent role with the same group of students. The position requires a high school diploma or GED, a valid U.S. driver’s license with the ability to become certified to drive student vans, experience with youth, and both spouses must be legally married for at least two years and be aged 27 or older. The role includes relocation assistance, comprehensive benefits, and paid training; on-duty duties involve a nine-on, three-off cycle with on-campus housing provided.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Valid U.S. driver’s license
- Ability to become certified to drive student home vans
- Experience working or volunteering with youth
- Two-spouse requirement: legally married for at least two years
- Both spouses age 27 or older
- No more than three dependent children may reside in the student home
- Commitment to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus; no alcohol on duty
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Demonstrated integrity and professionalism
- Willingness to reside in on-campus homes and follow a structured program
