Job Summary
Two-person Full-time Flex Houseparents role on Milton Hershey School campus. Couples reside in on-campus student homes to provide care, guidance, supervision, and support for approximately 8–13 students, with duties including supervision, mentorship, managing household routines and student schedules, administering medications, transporting students to activities, planning developmental and recreational activities, leading daily devotions and Sunday Chapel, and overseeing budgeting and household reporting. Initially, schedule is nine consecutive days on duty followed by three days off, with eventual placement in a single student home. Benefits include salary per person ($44,768) plus comprehensive benefits, relocation assistance, paid training, and potential for total compensation around $168,000 per couple. Requires both spouses to complete individual applications.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Valid U.S. driver’s license
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Two-person role for couples legally married for at least two years
- Both spouses must be age 27 or older
- Comfort leading students in daily devotions and Sunday Chapel
- Experience working or volunteering with youth
