Job Summary
Two-person, full-time Flex Houseparent role on a college-style campus: couples reside in student homes to provide care, supervision, mentorship, and family-like structure for 8–13 students; responsibilities include daily supervision, managing routines and schedules, administering medications, driving students to activities, planning developmental and recreational activities, leading daily devotions and Sunday Chapel, budgeting and housing reporting. Initially nine days on duty followed by three days off, with eventual placement in a single student home. Benefits include salary per person (~$44,768) with total compensation for the couple around $168,000, relocation assistance, comprehensive benefits, and paid training; requires a two-person married couple, ages 27+, valid driver’s license, youth-serving experience, high school diploma or GED, ability to lift 50 lbs, and a commitment to a drug- and alcohol-free campus. Required Qualifications
- Experience working or volunteering with youth
- Two-person role for couples legally married for at least two years
- Both spouses must be age 27 or older
- No more than three dependent children may reside in the student home
- Valid U.S. driver’s license and ability to become certified to drive student home vans
- High school diploma or GED required
- Ability to lift to 50 lbs.
- Proselytizing prohibited
- Commitment to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus; no alcohol permitted while on duty
