Job Summary
Flex Houseparents (two-person married couple) live in on-campus student homes to care for 8–13 students, providing supervision, mentorship, and support; duties include managing household routines, administering medications, driving students to activities, planning and engaging in developmental and recreational activities, leading daily devotions and Sunday Chapel, coaching budgeting and reporting, and transitioning from a nine-on/three-off schedule to a placed home with the same group of students.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Valid U.S. driver’s license
- Ability to become certified to drive student home vans
- Ability to lift to 50 lbs
- Experience working or volunteering with youth
- Both spouses must complete individual employment applications
- Two-person married-couple role
- Age 27 or older for both spouses
- Composure in a smoke-free and weapon-free campus
- Commitment to Judeo-Christian Chapel services (proselytizing prohibited)
Additional Requirements
- Must be legally married for at least two years
- Both spouses must be age 27 or older
- No more than three dependent children may reside in the student home
- Must have valid driver’s license and ability to drive student home vans
