Job Summary
Two-person full-time Flex Houseparents live on campus in student homes, supervising and mentoring approximately 8–13 students. Responsibilities include daily supervision, scheduling, medication administration, transporting students to activities, planning and participating in developmental and recreational activities, leading daily devotions and chapel, budgeting and reporting, and transitioning to a placed houseparent role. Requires a married couple (legally married for at least two years) to apply together; both spouses must be age 27 or older. High school diploma or GED required; ability to lift 50 lbs; valid driver’s license and ability to drive student vans; commitment to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus; no alcohol on duty; up to three dependent children in home. Salary is $44,768 per person (approx. $168,000 total per couple with benefits) with relocation and training provided.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Two-spouse, two-person role
- Must be legally married for at least two years
- Both spouses age 27 or older
- Valid U.S. driver’s license
- Ability to drive student home vans
- Comfort leading daily devotions and chapel
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Commitment to smoke-free and weapon-free campus
- No alcohol on duty
- No more than three dependent children in home
- Background check and training provided
- Relocation assistance provided
- On-campus housing included
