Job Summary
Full-time Flex Houseparents reside on-campus in student homes, providing daily supervision, mentorship, care, and guidance to 8–13 students. The roles include administering medications, driving students to activities, planning and participating in developmental and recreational activities, leading daily devotions and Sunday Chapel, overseeing household routines and budgeting, and supporting multiple student homes before transitioning to a Placed Houseparent role with a consistent group. The position requires a two-person married couple (27+ years old) to live on-site, with nine consecutive days on duty followed by three days off, comprehensive benefits and relocation assistance, and a commitment to a structured, family-like environment that fosters academic, emotional, and social development.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Two-person role for married couples
- Both spouses must be age 27 or older
- Valid U.S. driver’s license
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- ComfortLeading students in daily devotions and Sunday Chapel
- Ability to become certified to drive student home vans
- Experience working or volunteering with youth
Additional Requirements
- Must be legally married for at least two years
- Two spouses must complete individual employment applications
- No more than three dependent children may reside in the student home
- Smoke-free and weapon-free campus; no alcohol on duty
- Valid driver’s license to operate student home vans
- Ability to lift 50 lbs
