Job Summary
Two-person, full-time Flex Houseparent role on Milton Hershey School's on-campus residential program. Couples reside in student homes and provide care, guidance, supervision, and mentorship for 8–13 students, including daily supervision, medication administration, planning and leading activities, driving students to activities, and leading daily devotions and Chapel. Responsibilities span budgeting, household reporting, and scheduling within a nine-days-on, three-days-off cycle, with eventual placement into a fixed student-home assignment. Relocation assistance and comprehensive benefits are provided; both spouses must complete individual applications for consideration.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Two-person role for couples legally married for at least two years
- Both spouses must be age 27 or older
- Valid U.S. driver’s license
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Comfort leading students in daily devotions and Sunday Chapel
- Commitment to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus; no alcohol on duty
- Demonstrated integrity and professionalism; role requires on-campus living and supervision
