Job Summary
Two-person Full-time Flex Houseparents (married couple) live on-campus in student homes near Round Rock, TX, and provide care, mentorship, supervision, and holistic support for 8–13 students. Responsibilities include daily supervision, medication administration, planning and participating in developmental and recreational activities, driving to activities, leading daily devotions and Sunday Chapel, budgeting and household reporting, and transitioning from rotating nine-days-on/three-days-off shifts to a placed Houseparent role. Must be legally married for at least two years, both spouses age 27+, and able to lift 50 lbs. This role includes relocation assistance, comprehensive benefits, and paid training; high school diploma or GED is required. For consideration, both spouses must complete individual employment applications.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Valid U.S. driver’s license
- Ability to lift 50 lbs
- Two-spouse, married couple role
- Both spouses age 27 or older
- Commitment to smoke-free and weapon-free campus
- Ability to become certified to drive student home vans
- Proselytizing prohibition (Judeo-Christian chapel attendance)
- Ability to live and work with a group of 8–13 students in a student home
