Job Summary
Full-time Flex Houseparents (two-person married couple) reside in on-campus student homes in Hershey, PA, supervising and mentoring a group of 8–13 students. Responsibilities include daily supervision, mentorship, medication administration, transporting students to activities, planning and engaging in developmental/recreational activities, leading daily devotions and Sunday Chapel, overseeing household routines and budgeting, and reporting. The role progresses from assisting multiple student homes on a nine-on/three-off schedule to a Placed Houseparent position living with the same group of students. Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Two-spouse employment process (both spouses must apply)
- Valid U.S. driver’s license
- Ability to become certified to drive student home vans
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Commitment to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus; no alcohol while on duty
- Demonstrated integrity and professionalism
- Two-person, married-couple eligibility (legally married for at least two years, both spouses 27+)
