Job Summary
Full-time Flex Houseparents reside in on-campus student homes and provide care, guidance, supervision, and support for a group of approximately 8–13 students living in the home. Responsibilities include supervising and mentoring students, managing household routines and schedules, administering medications and ensuring student wellness, driving students to activities, planning and leading developmental and recreational activities, leading daily devotions and chapel, and overseeing budgeting and household reporting. The role starts with a nine consecutive days on duty followed by three days off, with eventual transition into a Placed Houseparent role living and working with the same group of students. Benefits include salary per person ($44,768) with total couple compensation around $168,000, relocation assistance, comprehensive benefits, paid time off, and paid training.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Valid U.S. driver’s license
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Experience working or volunteering with youth
- Two spouses must be legally married for at least two years
- Both spouses must be age 27 or older
- Two-person role for couples
- On-campus housing availability

- No more than three dependent children may reside in the student home
- Commitment to smoke-free and weapon-free campus; no alcohol permitted while on duty
- Valid U.S. driver’s license and ability to become certified to drive student home vans
