Job Summary
Two-person Full-time Flex Houseparent role on-campus at Milton Hershey School: couples reside in student homes, supervise ~813 students, provide mentorship, medications, transportation, and lead devotions/Chapel; nine consecutive days on duty followed by three days off, with eventual transition to a Placed Houseparent living with the same student group; benefits include relocation assistance, comprehensive insurance, retirement options, and paid training.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required
- Two-spouse, legally married for at least two years
- Both spouses must be age 27 or older
- Valid U.S. driver's license
- Ability to become certified to drive student home vans
- Ability to lift to 50 lbs
- Demonstrated integrity and professionalism
- Prolonged on-campus presence with children
- Communicate effectively with students and staff
