Job Summary
Full-time Flex Houseparents (a two-person married couple) reside in on-campus student homes to provide care, supervision, and support for 8–13 students. Responsibilities include supervising and mentoring students, managing household routines and schedules, administering medications, driving students to activities, planning developmental and recreational activities, leading daily devotions and Chapel visits, and overseeing budgeting and reporting. The schedule starts with nine consecutive days on duty followed by three days off, with potential transition to a Placed Houseparent living arrangement with the same group of students. Benefits include salary per person, relocation assistance, comprehensive benefits, paid time off, and training.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required
- Two-person role for couples legally married for at least two years
- Both spouses must be age 27 or older
- Valid U.S. driver’s license
- Ability to lift to 50 lbs
- Comfort leading students in daily devotions and Sunday Chapel
- Experience working or volunteering with youth
- Proven integrity and professionalism
- Commitment to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus; no alcohol while on duty
