Job Summary
Two-person Full-time Flex Houseparent role at Milton Hershey School: couples reside in on-campus student homes, provide care, supervision, mentorship, and support for 8–13 students; duties include supervising daily routines, administering medications, driving students to activities, leading devotions and chapel attendance, budgeting and reporting, and transitioning from a flexible schedule (nine days on, three off) to a placed houseparent assignment with consistent housing and student-home assignment. Compensation per person is $44,768 annually, with total couple compensation around $168,000 plus comprehensive benefits; relocation assistance and paid training provided.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Valid U.S. driver’s license and ability to become certified to drive student home vans
- Ability to lift to 50 lbs
- Experience working or volunteering with youth
- Two-person role for couples legally married for at least two years
- Both spouses must be age 27 or older
