Job Summary
Flex Houseparents (two-person, married couple) provide on-campus supervision, mentorship, and care for 8–13 students in homes, including administering medications, driving to activities, leading daily devotions and Sunday Chapel, planning development/recreational activities, and managing household routines and budgeting; role starts with a nine-days-on, three-days-off schedule and can transition to a placed houseparent with same group of students; relocation assistance and paid training provided; located on Milton Hershey School campus in Hershey, PA (and Yavapai County, AZ as a related location), with comprehensive benefits.
Required Qualifications
- Experience working or volunteering with youth
- Two-person role for couples legally married for at least two years
- Both spouses must be age 27 or older
- No more than three dependent children may reside in the student home
- Valid U.S. driver’s license and ability to become certified to drive student home vans
- High school diploma or GED required
- Ability to lift to 50 lbs.
