Job Summary
Full-time Flex Houseparents reside in on-campus student homes to provide care, supervision, and mentorship for a group of about 8–13 students, including administering medications, driving students to activities, planning and leading developmental and recreational activities, supervising daily routines, budgeting and reporting, and guiding spiritual activities such as daily devotions and Sunday Chapel. The role is a two-person, married-couple position with an initial nine-on, three-off duty cycle, followed by transition to a placed houseparent; requires driving responsibilities, ability to lift up to 50 lbs, and adherence to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Must be legally married for at least two years
- Two-person role; both spouses must apply separately
- Both spouses must be 27 years or older
- Valid U.S. driver’s license
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Comfort leading students in devotions and chapel services
- Desire to work with youth in a structured, campus-based setting
- Willingness to relocate to on-campus housing as part of role (relocation assistance provided)
