Job Summary
Conduct development, integration, testing, and delivery of the P-8A Maintenance Training Device Suite by tracing requirements to test procedures and authoring validated test procedures with USN Fleet SME support. Lead or support onsite test events, authoring Software Trouble Reports in JIRA, and adjudicating defects post-event using Model-Based System Engineering. Collaborate with the NAWCTSD Test Team and contractors to plan and execute test scenarios while traveling for program objectives. This hybrid role offers three days per week onsite in Orlando with remote flexibility, situated within the Naval Air Warfare Center Training Systems Division.
Required Qualifications
- U.S. Citizenship
- Secret Clearance
- demonstrated fleet experience and proficiency in P8 maintenance
- Bachelor's Degree
- 5-7 years of test engineering experience
- Expertise Test Engineering for development of detailed Test Procedures and Reports
- The ability to travel for onsite Test support in Jacksonville
