Job Summary
P2P Desk Manager responsible for the Zurich function within Sunrise's P2P landscape. Lead the operational authority to resolve non-standard issues across PR/PO queries, invoice issues, and vendor cases, ensuring compliance with SLAs. Validate requisitions end-to-end (contract alignment, commodity classification, policy compliance, approvals) and drive clean PO conversion. Oversee vendor onboarding with correct Ariba setup and channel routing. Identify recurring problems and translate them into structured improvement initiatives feeding the P2P Improvement Programme. Maintain master data (pricing, catalogs, payment terms, commodity codes) to enable friction-free purchasing and invoice processing. Train and coach business units on the Spend Policy, champion catalogs, contracts, and purchase orders to drive compliant buying at the source. Track KPIs (STIP, invoice and PO compliance, vendor onboarding time), report non-compliance trends, and escalate category deviations to the Category Manager. Build capability rather than dependency and collaborate with Finance, Procurement, and Business to ensure end-to-end process excellence.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of hands-on procurement or P2P operations experience in a mid-to-large enterprise
- Proficient in SAP S/4HANA; working knowledge of SAP Ariba is a strong advantage
- Solid grasp of end-to-end P2P processes, purchase policy frameworks, escalation management and vendor onboarding
- Analytical mindset with ability to translate KPIs into improvement actions
- Skilled communicator with ability to de-escalate urgent situations and engage with senior stakeholders
- Fluent English and strong German language skills, both written and spoken
