Job Summary
Ring, sieve, crush, and split client samples for analysis under direct supervision. Load and unload drying ovens while maintaining production logs and performing general lab cleaning duties. Handle compositing, screen metallics, and special requests; inspect equipment and report adjustments to senior staff. Adhere strictly to safety regulations and health policies. Requires ability to sit or stand for long periods, work in hot and dusty environments, and lift up to 50 lbs. Must be cleanly-shaven to wear protective equipment. Required Qualifications
- Ability to sit and/or stand for long periods of time
- Ability to work in a hot and dusty environment
- Manual dexterity to perform repetitive tasks
- Ability to lift up to 50lbs; sometimes continuously (occasionally lifting may exceed 50lbs and assistance is mandatory from either another employee or the lift assist equipment)
- Ability to sit at a desk and do general office work, which includes periodic sedentary responsibilities
- Be cleanly-shaven in order to wear protective equipment
- Good hand-eye coordination
- Good organizational skills
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team
- Basic alpha/numeric comprehension
- Basic English communication skills (written and verbal)
- To be a Citizen or Permanent Resident of the country you are applying for, or either hold or be able to obtain, a valid working visa
