Job Summary
Process and record inbound and outbound shipments while verifying shipping and receiving documentation for accuracy. Maintain and forecast out schedules for pickup and/or receiving, coordinate with drivers and vendors to schedule deliveries, and generate bills of lading and manifests. Enter data into inventory and logistics systems, monitor inventory levels, and assist with cycle counts and periodic inventory audits. Identify and report operational issues, maintain filing systems for compliance records, and ensure a clean, organized, and safe work environment. This role supports daily warehouse and logistics operations within the plant, adhering to safety and environmental standards. Applicants must be authorized to work in the U.S.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma
- Applicants must be authorized to work in the U.S.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in recordkeeping
- Basic knowledge of inventory systems, shipping processes, and documentation
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word) and data entry systems
- Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Basic math skills for weights, measurements, and counts
- Must be comfortable working in a shared space, with constant noise, with/or without the use of a private office
- Comfortable working in a warehouse and industrial environment, including exposure to noise, dust, insects, and varying temperatures
- The employee is regularly required to stand and walk
- The employee will periodically go up and down stairs
- The employee frequently is required to use hands to finger, handle or feel and reach with hands and arms
- The employee must periodically lift and/or move up to 75 pounds
- Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus
- The employee will occasionally climb a ladder
