Job Summary
Bilingual part-time respite care provider for children, focusing on safety and daily living support under the Family Support Plan. Responsibilities include supervision, personal hygiene assistance, preparing nutritious meals, administering medications as directed by the supervisor, documentation of services (timesheets and provider reports), participating in Family Team Conferences and multidisciplinary teamwork, maintaining professional relationships with families and the supervisor, and completing required trainings. Requires effective communication, ability to collaborate with families and caregivers, knowledge of child development and behavior management, and ability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends. Education: High School Diploma or GED with preferred post-secondary human services experience; valid Florida driver’s license and mandatory background checks. Must be able to provide transportation and meet agency licensing requirements. Works in office/home/community settings with emphasis on quality documentation and compliance with program policies.
