Job Summary
P/T Clinician responsible for evaluating and directing care of residents in the Hope Harbor DMC Drug Medi-Cal Program; develop and finalize ASAM assessments and Medical necessity notes; assist in clinical treatment planning protocols; manage authorization requests in SAGE-PCNX; complete progress notes and paperwork; supervise and coordinate with Program Director/Supervisor; requires knowledge of DMC/SAPC regulations, ability to supervise staff, and CPR/First Aid; bilingual preferred; focus on services for homeless population in Los Angeles.
Required Qualifications
- Master’s Degree in Social Work or related field and registered with BBS
- Licensed Clinical Counselor strongly preferred or be able to complete licensure
- At least 2 years’ experience as a mental health professional serving the homeless population
- Bilingual English/Spanish preferred
- Previous management experience preferred
- Must have a valid drivers’ license
- Must be able to pass a criminal background check
