Job Summary
Prepare and package product as directed, assist customers with orders, and properly price merchandise at the prepared foods counter. Stock and rotate merchandise, maintain current product knowledge, and keep the work area clean and organized. Provide exceptional customer service in a timely and professional manner while abiding by time and attendance policies. Perform miscellaneous duties as assigned and sample products at the manager's direction. This role consists primarily of evening and closing shifts. Culinary or food service experience is preferred, and the position requires moderate physical activity including standing and handling objects up to 25 pounds.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to write legibly and read with comprehension at a level where it applies to this position
- Proper phone etiquette while taking orders and messages
- Ability to effectively communicate between peers
- Ability to handle average-weight objects up to 25 pounds
- Ability to stand, and/or walk for more than four (4) hours per day
Desired Qualifications
- Culinary or food service experience preferred
