P&L Manager - Building & Infrastructure (Malaysia)

Job Summary
P&L Manager overseeing Malaysia B&I services; lead sales and business development for large capex projects; manage multidisciplinary teams of engineers, consultants, and inspectors; lead full lifecycle of construction projects; ensure compliance with international standards and Bureau Veritas quality frameworks; develop and execute long-term business strategies for B&I Malaysia, including market analysis, financial planning, and service positioning; monitor KPIs and drive revenue growth, cost control, and client engagement.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Project Management, or related field.
- Minimum 15 years’ experience in project management, with at least 5 years in a leadership role as Project Director / Senior Project Manager in construction or engineering projects.
- Proven track record of delivering large-scale, complex, multi-industry projects.
- Managed and completed a few Data Center mega projects
- Strong knowledge of construction processes, engineering practices, contract management, and regulatory compliance.
- Excellent leadership, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Strong financial and budget management capabilities.
- International project management exposure will be an advantage.
- Fluent in English and Bahasa Malaysia (both written and spoken).
- Preferred Certifications: PMP or Prince2 Practitioner, Chartered Engineer (CEng) / PE, ISO/HSE/QMS training.
- Experience developing OPEX service lines or transitioning capex clients to recurring revenue model
