Job Summary
Lead medium voltage electrical construction projects from mobilization through energization, managing teams, budgets, and schedules for mission-critical data centers in the DFW region. Oversee onsite managers and subcontractors while enforcing safety protocols, reviewing technical drawings, and coordinating with utility providers. Own project P&L by monitoring costs, change orders, and productivity metrics to ensure financial performance. Support commissioning activities and lead client-facing meetings as the primary contractor-side representative.
Required Qualifications
- 10+ years of experience in electrical construction
- significant experience in medium voltage systems
- experience in mission-critical or data center environments
- Demonstrated P&L management experience
- Strong understanding of medium voltage electrical systems
- Strong understanding of utility coordination
- Strong understanding of substations
- Strong understanding of switchgear
- Strong understanding of commissioning processes
- Proven leadership experience managing project teams
- Proven leadership experience managing subcontractors
- Proven leadership experience managing budgets
- Proven leadership experience managing complex construction schedules
- Ability to interpret electrical drawings
- Ability to interpret specifications
- Ability to interpret one-line diagrams
- Ability to interpret technical construction documentation
- Experience with project controls
- Experience with cost forecasting
- Experience with change management
- Experience with scheduling platforms
- A contractor-side background
- Valid driver's license
- ability to work in active construction environments
- ability to work around energized electrical systems

- Direct experience on hyperscale data center construction projects
- Background in utility-scale electrical infrastructure
- Background in transmission construction
- Background in substation construction
- OSHA 30-Hour Construction certification
- PMP certification

- Established relationships with utility providers in the DFW market
- Experience managing projects involving accelerated schedules
- Experience managing complex energization sequencing
