Job Summary
P.E. Teacher - Elementary at MacArthur in Liberal, KS. Responsible for delivering physical education to elementary students, implementing district curriculum, developing and administering lesson plans, and using instructional technology. Maintains up-to-date records of student progress, administers standardized tests in accordance with district protocols, and fosters a positive, safe learning environment. Communicates effectively with students and staff, upholds district policies and board regulations, and contributes to the district’s educational mission. The role may include ESOL endorsement considerations; offers up to a $5,000 sign-on bonus. Terms of employment and work year are determined in accordance with the district professional agreement.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university
- Valid Kansas Teacher’s Certificate with appropriate endorsement
- Professional verification of successful classroom teacher performance and/or student teaching experience
- ESOL Endorsement preferred (optional with $500 annual stipend bonus for Kansas ESOL licensed employees)
