P.E. Aide (26 - 27 School Year)

Assist teacher in preparation and management of classroom activities and administrative requirements. Work under supervision of certified teacher. Duties include assisting with instructional materials and classroom display, assisting with administration and scoring of objective testing instruments, helping maintain a neat gym, inventory and maintenance of equipment, maintaining instructional records, and providing orientation and assistance to substitute teachers. Supervise students throughout the school day across various settings (lunchroom, bus, playground) and support student management under the coordinator/coach guidance. Participate in staff development and faculty activities as assigned; perform other duties as assigned. Requires high school diploma or GED, 48 college hours or Texas paraprofessional training, and Valid Texas educational aide certificate. Strong communication and teamwork skills, reliability, and the ability to work with children are essential.
