Job Summary
Senior P&C Commercial Lines Sales Agent to identify and acquire new business in the commercial insurance sector. Responsibilities include generating new sales leads, turning leads into prospects and clients, presenting proposals, closing sales, providing proactive risk management advice, identifying carrier risk appetites and underwriting guidelines, pursuing cross-sell opportunities among existing clients, staying informed on marketplace trends, and maintaining documentation. Requires bilingual Chinese and English, 6+ years of commercial insurance sales experience with an active P&C license, experience placing policies for high-risk clients in the E&S market, and strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills. Bachelor's degree or equivalent is preferred. Proficiency with Microsoft Windows and Agency Management System is expected. The position offers competitive salary and commissions, with a salary range of $80,000-$96,000 per year, based in Fremont, CA.
Required Qualifications
- Active P&C license
- Experience placing commercial insurance policies for high-risk clients in E&S market
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent (preferred)
- Excellent communication and presentation abilities
- Strong sales, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and drive results
