Job Summary
Prepare proposals and presentations utilizing marketing resources and collaborate with technical specialists to secure and retain business. Conduct thorough needs analysis and risk assessments to identify unique client coverage needs, while providing consultative advice in key risk areas. Maintain consistent, high-quality communication with clients through phone and face-to-face interactions, advocating for them during the claims process. Identify prospects among existing and prospective clients, cultivate relationships with decision-makers, and actively pursue cross-selling opportunities. Obtain referral leads from current clients and engage in community and professional associations to build a network.
Required Qualifications
- Valid state-relevant insurance license(s) (if applicable)
- Minimum of 5 years of proven property and casualty insurance sales experience
- Comprehensive understanding of sales principles, marketing strategies, and the technical aspects of insurance and risk management products
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to think critically and logically
- Proven ability to work strategically and decisively in a client-centric environment under tight deadlines
- Excellent communication skills (written, verbal, and oral) and strong interpersonal abilities
Desired Qualifications
- Bachelor of Arts or Bachelor of Science degree in a related field preferred
