Job Summary
Perform testing and commissioning of P&C protection and control systems on high-voltage substations (15 kV–500 kV) across utility, industrial, and bulk power projects nationwide. Hands-on field work with 80% field deployments and multi-day projects. Relay testing using Omicron CMC 256/356, Doble F6150, and similar sets across SEL, GE, Basler, and Beckwith relay families; control scheme testing; CT/PT circuit verification; settings uploads; and field documentation (logs, sketches, digital reports). Reports to on-site Project Leads and Field Supervisors. Requires hands-on experience with medium/high voltage electrical testing, familiarity with NETA, IEEE, NFPA standards, and proficiency with ProTesT, Protection Suite, ENOSERV RTS, Omicron Test Universe, and/or AcSELerator Quickset. Valid driver’s license with a clean record. Compensation is described as highly competitive and travel is reimbursed. HS diploma or equivalent is required; ability to lift up to 100 lbs with assistance. Twenty openings in the U.S. live environment.
