Job Summary
P&C Claims Representative III to investigate, evaluate, negotiate, and resolve complex property damage and bodily injury claims arising from transit operations; independently manage a high-volume caseload (approximately 150–175 claims) with reserves and exposure management, negotiate settlements, coordinate with defense counsel, and prepare detailed reports while ensuring regulatory and client compliance. Requires strong investigative, negotiation, and analytical skills, with experience handling higher-severity liability claims and proficiency in claims management systems and MS Office.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree preferred; or High School Diploma or equivalent with relevant claims handling experience.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience handling automobile liability, bodily injury, property damage, or general liability claims with a bachelor's degree; or Minimum of 4 years of experience investigating, evaluating, negotiating, and resolving automobile property damage, bodily injury, and general liability claims.
