Job Summary
Deliver home medical equipment, oxygen, and supplies to patients and clients while maintaining strict DOT and FDA compliance. Drive routes to ensure timely deliveries, complete accurate route sheets, and manage inventory by loading vehicles and segregating clean and dirty equipment. Provide patient orientation on equipment safety and assist with minor repairs, cleaning, and stock requests. Solve problems on the field as a company representative, handle paperwork and manifests, and perform office maintenance tasks as needed. Work Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., with occasional on-call time.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma
- 1-3 years of EMT and/or Medical Delivery Driver experience
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal to interact knowledgeably with customers/clients
- Must be able to frequently lift and/or move up to 10 pounds
- Must be able to occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
- Must be able to work Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
Desired Qualifications
- High School Diploma preferred
- 1-3 years of EMT and/or Medical Delivery Driver experience preferred
- Become familiar with all DOT and FDA regulations as they pertain to oxygen
- Assists in minor repair work on home medical equipment within the scope of training
