Job Summary
Owner's Rep - Field Engineer for Data Center projects in Ashburn, VA. Onsite at data center construction sites, supporting the engineering design team by translating client design requirements into actionable guidance for the design and construction teams. Responsibilities include coordinating with trades and stakeholders, managing project design reviews, preparing conceptual designs from onsite meetings, supporting data center operations with design upgrades, assisting with RFPs, responding to RFIs, and representing the company in project meetings. Required experience includes 5-15+ years in design, construction, or commissioning for data centers; strong knowledge of electrical power distribution, generators, UPS, and switchgear; proficiency with AutoCAD; familiarity with Revit/MEP/BIM; and a Bachelor's Degree in an engineering field (PE/EIT a plus). Exceptional written and verbal communication, independent work capability, and data center/mission-critical experience are highly valued. Military veteran experience is a plus.
Required Qualifications
- 5-15+ years experience in Design, Construction or Commissioning in a data center
- Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or similar engineering degree a plus
- Experience with Electrical Power Distribution System design and installation
- Experience with Generators, UPS systems and electrical switchgear a plus
- Experience with AutoCAD for review and tweaks for any design plans a plus
- Revit/MEP/BIM experience a plus
- Previous Data Center / Mission Critical experience a must
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work with internal/external clients
- Ability to work independently
Desired Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or similar engineering degree a plus
- Licensed PE / EIT a Plus

- Previous Data Center / Mission Critical experience a must
