Job Summary
Own your own business as a Panther owner-operator truck driver. Run under Panther’s operating authority with full control of your contracting status, set your own schedule, choose loads via the ArcBest board or Panther expedited/dedicated programs, enjoy 99% no-touch freight, weekly settlements, and access to driver support 24/7. Eligible candidates hold a CDL-A with at least 6 months of experience, be at least 21, and meet clean record requirements; straight trucks and cargo vans are also available. Sign-on bonus of $5,000 for solo driver offered; new rate increase announced for 2026. This role emphasizes being independent contractor with control over loads and schedule, while benefiting from Panther’s support, cost-saving benefits, and fuel surcharge along with standard rate per shipment.
Required Qualifications
- CDL-A
- 6 months minimum experience
- At least 21 years of age
- No DUI or drug convictions in the last 5 years
- No felonies in the last 10 years
