Job Summary
Owner-operator driver to run own profitable business under Panther's authority. Operate tractors/straight trucks with 99% no-touch freight, choose loads via the ArcBest board, and benefit from weekly settlements and a sign-on bonus. Maintain independence as an independent contract carrier, set your own schedule, and leverage Panther’s support ecosystem (expedite solution, dedicated lanes, fuel surcharge). Must hold CDL-A with at least 6 months experience, be 21+, have no recent DUI/drug convictions or felonies. Locations include Hagerstown, MD with US-based operations. The role emphasizes self-employment, load selection, and compliant, on-time delivery.
Required Qualifications
- CDL-A + 6 months minimum experience
- At least 21 years of age
- No DUI or drug convictions in the last 5 years
- No felonies in the last 10 years
- Straight trucks and cargo vans: no experience necessary
