Job Summary
Oversees and coordinates all facets of pre-construction, bid and award, construction, and close-out phases for assigned projects; reviews pre-construction documents and comments to Designers; plans and reports progress to upper management; coordinates with public agencies during pre-construction and construction; manages project budget and schedule; supervises contractor activities, reviews submittals, and responds to RFCs; negotiates Contractor Change Order Proposals; monitors payments and administers Architect/Engineer/Contractor agreements; coordinates delivery of fixtures and equipment; ensures project close-out with DSA and financial close-out; performs other related duties.
Required Qualifications
- Ten (10) years full time paid professional experience in Construction and/or Project/Construction Management of Commercial/Public/Educational Facility Construction
- Three (3) years of the ten (10) years should have full responsibility for coordinating complex projects with construction values > $10M
- Bachelor’s degree in architecture, engineering, or construction management OR equivalent combination OR CCM credential within one year OR CCM credential substituted for degree
- Preferred: BIM experience; LEED/CHPS experience; OSHA 30 minimum
