Job Summary
Assistant Coach – High School in Olathe, KS for the 1-year assignment under the head coach, supporting drill/dance programs. Responsibilities include working with the head coach to conduct pre-season meetings with parents, communicating schedules and expectations, teaching and coaching in a positive manner, maintaining sportsmanship, adhering to district policies and KSHSAA rules, ensuring safety of equipment and facilities, following guidelines for injuries and concussions, and enforcing behavior and discipline as directed. Must comply with all district and board policies and support the athletic program’s guidelines for participation, substance abuse policies, and lighting/hot weather procedures.
