Job Summary
Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and HVAC systems on ground support equipment including tow tractors, belt loaders, and pushback tractors. Perform preventative maintenance and inspections while using Maintenance Information Systems to document all repairs. Ensure proper documentation, safety, and quality standards are met by following OSHA and EPA regulations. Participate in continuous improvement and training opportunities. Work Monday through Friday from 7:00am to 3:30pm at the Elkhart, Indiana Overhaul facility.
Required Qualifications
- 1–4 years' experience in mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, or HVAC systems
- Diesel, automotive, or heavy equipment repair background
- Strong troubleshooting skills
- Computer proficiency
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs
- Ability to work in all weather conditions
- Must provide own hand tools
- Strong communication skills
- Must be 18+
- Eligible to work in the U.S.
- Possess a valid driver's license
- Team player with the ability to work independently
- English language proficiency
Desired Qualifications
- Med/Heavy Truck Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) certification
- Universal HVAC certification
