Job Summary
Lead and mentor inmates in a dynamic team, passing on trade skills to build their confidence and prepare them for employment after release. Coordinate daily operations to deliver high-quality commercial outcomes, drive productivity, and ensure compliance with Workplace Health and Safety and quality standards. Take ownership of the workshop by managing tools, equipment, and resources while maintaining a safe, organized environment. Combine hands-on trade work with leadership to support rehabilitation and help develop the next generation of skilled workers.
Required Qualifications
- Relevant trade qualifications: Minimum Certificate lll Carpentry, Building, Cabinet Making or similar
- Proven post-trade experience with the ability to apply your skills effectively in a diverse operational environment
- Current Certificate III in Correctional Practise or willingness to obtain within timeframe set out by CSNSW
- A copy of your trade qualifications MUST be attached to be considered for this role
