Job Summary
Provide awake overnight supervision and support to youth ages 12–18, ensuring their safety and security through routine wellness checks and maintaining a calm, structured environment. Respond appropriately to behavioral concerns, emergencies, and crisis situations while following established program routines and policies. Complete shift logs, incident reports, and other required documentation accurately, communicating relevant information to incoming staff for continuity of care. Serve as a positive role model treating youth with dignity and respect. Driving is required, and on rare occasions, you may work at another residential program in Quincy, Weymouth, Hingham, or Plymouth. Shifts run Thursday through Sunday from 10 PM to 8 AM.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- Driving
- Able to learn, carry out and be certified in CPI physical interventions, and de-escalation techniques
- Able to learn, carry out and be certified in CPR and first aid
Desired Qualifications
- 1 year experience working with adolescents
- Residential experience
- Experience with systems (e.g. DMH, DCF)
- Additional languages
