Job Summary
Support veterinarians with patient care, exams, surgery, anesthesia, and recovery while safely handling and restraining animals. Perform technical duties including lab work, radiographs, injections, and IV catheter placement, and maintain accurate medical records. Communicate clearly with clients regarding care instructions and status updates. Keep exam rooms, treatment areas, and equipment clean, stocked, and ready, while following hospital, safety, and regulatory guidelines. Required Qualifications
- At least 2 years of veterinary experience
- Knowledgeable about common disease states
- Familiarity with DEA, OSHA, and hospital safety guidelines
- Availability for 12-hour shifts (8 PM – 8 AM)
- Availability for three days per week
- Availability on holidays
