Job Summary
Park and retrieve guest vehicles in a prompt, safe manner while driving slowly and cautiously. Assist guests with bell services, luggage delivery, and door opening. Greet guests within five feet using their last names and explain parking rates and retrieval procedures. Collect claim checks, issue keys, and maintain accurate ticket information including damage surveys and folio details. Calculate and collect revenue for vehicles as needed. Work the overnight shift from 11pm to 7am with an hourly base of $9–$11 plus $5 shift differential and $5–$10 in tips. Valid driver's license and manual transmission operation are required.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
- Must hold a valid driver's license for the state you are applying to work, or within a commutable distance from the state you are applying to work (as applicable)
- One (1) month related experience and/or training; OR equivalent combination of education and experience
- Knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer and personal services
- Ability to read and write standard English language
- Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence and memos
- Ability to write simple correspondence
- Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to guests, clients and other employees of the organization
- Ability to add and subtract three digit numbers and to multiply and divide with 10's and 100's; ability to perform these operations using units of American money
- Ability to understand 24 hour and military time systems
- Ability to understand rates applicable to time passed
- Ability to operate a manual transmission
- Travel of up to 5% may be required
- Exerting up to 100 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 50 pounds of force frequently, and/or up to 20 pounds of force constantly to move objects
- The majority of work will be performed outdoors for extended periods of time including up to the entire duration of shift
- Employees are subject to environmental conditions including extreme heat and cold weather
Desired Qualifications
- Ability to operate a manual transmission is highly desirable
