Job Summary
Parks and retrieves guest vehicles while driving slowly and cautiously, assisting guests with bell services, luggage delivery, and door opening. Greets guests within five feet using their last names and explains parking rates and retrieval procedures. Manages the valet system by issuing claim checks, collecting revenue, and maintaining accurate ticket information including damage surveys. Shuttles guests to approved locations and provides directions, taxi information, and facility amenities. Performs these duties Thurs-Sun overnights at Towne Park's Riviera Resort, with a base pay of $15 per hour plus tips.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
- Must hold a valid driver's license for the state you are applying to work, or within a commutable distance from the state you are applying to work
- One (1) month related experience and/or training
- Knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer and personal services
- Ability to read and write standard English language
- Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence and memos
- Ability to write simple correspondence
- Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to guests, clients and other employees of the organization
- Ability to add and subtract three digit numbers and to multiply and divide with 10's and 100's
- Ability to perform these operations using units of American money
- Ability to understand 24 hour and military time systems
- Ability to understand rates applicable to time passed
- Ability to operate a manual transmission
- Ability to perform parallel parking
- Work schedule for the position is Thurs-Sun overnights
- Travel of up to 5% may be required
