Job Summary
Overnight valet attendant providing guest parking, luggage aid, and bell services for Towne Park at Hampton Inn Pearl District. Responsibilities include parking and retrieving guest vehicles, assisting guests with luggage, directions, taxis, reservations, and inquiries, and delivering guest amenities. Requires a valid driver’s license, basic English literacy, and basic math; familiarity with 24-hour time and monetary transactions. Shift runs 10:30pm–7:00am on Saturdays and Sundays; hourly pay: $17–$17.75 plus tips with a $2 shift differential. Outdoor work in varying conditions; opportunities for 401k and insurance benefits where applicable.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Must hold a valid driver’s license for the applying state or within a commutable distance
- One (1) month related experience and/or training or equivalent
- Ability to read and write standard English
- Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence and memos
- Ability to perform basic arithmetic (add/subtract) and money handling
- Ability to understand 24 hour and military time systems
- Ability to operate a manual transmission is highly desirable
