Job Summary
Park and retrieve guest vehicles while driving slowly and cautiously, assisting guests with bell services, luggage delivery, and door access. Greet guests within five feet using their last names and the salutation of the day, while explaining parking rates and retrieval procedures. Manage claim checks, collect revenue, and maintain accurate ticket information including damage surveys and key tags. Work overnight shifts from 11pm to 7am, performing these duties outdoors in various weather conditions.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
- Must hold a valid driver's license for the state you are applying to work, or within a commutable distance from the state you are applying to work
- One (1) month related experience and/or training; OR equivalent combination of education and experience
- Knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer and personal services
- Ability to read and write standard English language
- Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence and memos
- Ability to write simple correspondence
- Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to guests, clients and other employees of the organization
- Ability to add and subtract three digit numbers and to multiply and divide with 10's and 100's; ability to perform these operations using units of American money
- Ability to understand 24 hour and military time systems
- Ability to understand rates applicable to time passed
- Ability to operate a manual transmission
- Ability to perform parallel parking
- Overnight shifts (11pm-7am)
- Travel of up to 5%
