Job Summary
Provide exceptional customer service, thoroughly clean and stock, process accurate payment transactions, and prepare and serve quality food to travelers at Applegreen travel plazas. Operate point-of-sale systems, follow food safety and brand standards, and actively cross-sell products while maintaining knowledge of available services. Perform kitchen tasks including prepping, cooking, and packaging, plus stock, clean, and sanitize workstations. Engage in positive interactions with customers and coworkers, demonstrating the ability to stand, walk, and lift up to 40 pounds. Maintain regular attendance and punctuality while working a flexible schedule that includes days, nights, weekends, and holidays.
Required Qualifications
- Able to stand and walk for an extended period of time
- Frequently bend, twist, lift and carry at least 40 pounds
- Requires the ability to speak, read and comprehend instructions, short correspondence, and policy documents, as well as converse comfortably with customers
- Available to work a flexible schedule including days, nights, weekends, and holidays
- Maintain regular and consistent attendance and punctuality, with or without reasonable accommodation
Desired Qualifications
- Cash handling and customer service experience preferred
