Job Summary
Provide exceptional customer service, thoroughly clean and stock, process accurate payments, and prepare quality food for travelers at Applegreen travel plazas. Operate the point-of-sale system, follow food safety and cash handling policies, and actively cross-sell products while maintaining brand standards. Perform kitchen tasks including prepping, cooking, and packaging, plus stock, clean, and sanitize all equipment. Maintain knowledge of available products and services, demonstrating the ability to interact enthusiastically with the public and coworkers. Requires physical stamina to stand, walk, and lift up to 40 pounds, with availability for flexible shifts including days, nights, weekends, and holidays.
Required Qualifications
- Able to stand and walk for an extended period of time
- Frequently bend, twist, lift and carry at least 40 pounds
- Requires the ability to speak, read and comprehend instructions, short correspondence, and policy documents, as well as converse comfortably with customers
- Available to work a flexible schedule including days, nights, weekends, and holidays
- Maintain regular and consistent attendance and punctuality, with or without reasonable accommodation
Desired Qualifications
