Job Summary
Provide exceptional customer service by engaging positively with travelers, operating the point-of-sale system, and processing accurate payments. Prepare and serve quality food while ensuring proper food handling, stocking, and temperature checks. Perform kitchen tasks including prepping, cooking, packaging, and cleaning workstations. Actively cross-sell products and maintain knowledge of available services. Stand, walk, and lift up to 40 pounds throughout the shift. Available for flexible schedules including days, nights, weekends, and holidays. Full-time role at Applegreen USA travel plazas across the Northeast and Midwest.
Required Qualifications
- Able to stand and walk for an extended period of time
- Frequently bend, twist, lift and carry at least 40 pounds
- Requires the ability to speak, read and comprehend instructions, short correspondence, and policy documents, as well as converse comfortably with customers
- Available to work a flexible schedule including days, nights, weekends, and holidays
- Maintain regular and consistent attendance and punctuality, with or without reasonable accommodation
Desired Qualifications
- Cash handling and customer service experience preferred
