Job Summary
Overnight Support Specialist ensures safety and well-being of consumers with mental health diagnoses in a residential setting; duties include staying awake during overnight shifts, conducting hourly security checks, documenting progress in confidential records, assisting with medication administration, performing household upkeep, and communicating with team members.
Required Qualifications
- High School degree or GED required
- Bachelor’s degree in a similar field, preferred
- At least six months experience with population with severe and persistent mental illness and/or substance use disorder (in lieu of college degree)
- MAP certification
- CPR/First Aid certification within five months of hire
- Valid driver’s license preferred
- Effective verbal and written communication skills
