Job Summary
Overnight the Supervisor directs Outfitters on sales floor replenishment, merchandise presentation, seasonal resets, inventory management, and price change execution. Delegates tasks to team members, ensures adherence to standard operating procedures, and maintains visual presentation standards including signage and planograms. Manages nightly replenishment from backstock, distribution centers, and direct vendors while completing on-demand inventory counts and empty peg scanning. Supports the Management team with special event coordination, pricing integrity, and advertised item display. Conducts interviews, trains associates, prepares weekly schedules, and resolves customer complaints to foster a positive work environment. Ensures all breaks and lunches are provided in accordance with regulations.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- 2-4 Retail Years
- Retail Experience
- Availability to work overnight shifts
- Ability to read and analyze certain reports
- Ability to effectively present information and respond to inquiries from Managers, Outfitters, customers and the general public
- Ability to conduct meetings and presentations to groups
- Proficiency with PC-based word processing, spreadsheets, data-based management and inventory management systems
- Demonstrated strong interpersonal skills
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with co-workers, Outfitters, customers and with the Base Camp team
