Job Summary
Overnight Supervisor daily direction to Outfitters on the overnight shift, including sales floor replenishment, merchandise presentation, seasonal resets, and inventory management. Delegate tasks and ensure adherence to standard operating procedures while maintaining visual presentation standards and signage. Execute nightly replenishment from backstock, distribution centers, and vendor deliveries, plus on-demand inventory counts and peg scanning during off-peak hours. Coordinate special events, pricing integrity, and advertised item assortments. Support management with interviewing, training, scheduling, and performance evaluations. Ensure all breaks and lunches are provided for overnight staff in accordance with regulations.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- 2-4 Retail Years
- Retail Experience
- Availability to work overnight shifts
- Ability to read and analyze certain reports
- Ability to effectively present information and respond to inquiries from Managers, Outfitters, customers and the general public
- Ability to conduct meetings and presentations to groups
- Proficiency with PC-based word processing, spreadsheets, data-based management and inventory management systems
- Demonstrated strong interpersonal skills
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with co-workers, Outfitters, customers and with the Base Camp team
